May 2025 Photo of the month

We've chosen a fieldwork photo for May.

It was taken at Deepdale North during a Rocky Shore Transect, and it looks across Scapa Flow with the Hoy hills on the horizon. The transect is part of our Marine Intertidal Monitoring programme. 

The weather looks very bonnie in the photo, but we did have horizontal rain at one point!
