We are going with a flashback photo for February. Jenni took this while on a Seasearch dive on submarine UB116 in Scapa Flow back in December 2012. 

The hydroids in the image are Nemertesia antennina, also in the photo are Devonshire cup corals and a common sea urchin. Nemertesia antennina is a colonial hydroid and the colony consists of up to 50 thick stems which grow up to 25 cm tall from a fibrous base. It is also known as 'Sea beard'.
